Turnbull & Asser’s beautiful silk ties are hand-sewn in Kent by a team of artisans with centuries of combined experience. The silk used is woven in Suffolk using techniques dating back hundreds of years, while the blade of each design features a unique hidden ‘loop’ made from strongest-ever bonded thread.

GStudio was asked to produce a short film celebrating the artisanal production behind each and every Turnbull & Asser silk tie.

Our latest collaboration and a short film with Turnbull & Asser takes you on a journey of the finest British shirt-making. The shirts are all handmade at their shirt factory in Gloucester where we take a look at the behind the scenes of the shirt making process by one of Britains finest tailors. Each shirt is made of 33 individual pieces of extra-long Egyptian cloth & West Indian Sea Island cotton – the rarest of their kind.
